Giza Systems Sets Sights on Global Expansion with Bold Growth Strategy
Giza Systems (GS), a leading digital transformation provider and systems integrator in the Middle East and Africa, has announced a bold new strategy to establish itself as a technology powerhouse both regionally and globally. This milestone announcement also marks the appointment of Ahmad Elharany as the new Group CEO.
At a recent media roundtable, Elharany presented the company's forward-looking strategy: to drive geographic expansion, invest in high-growth sectors, and enhance global service capabilities. This plan is part of GS Group’s broader ambition to become a global pioneer in innovation and digital transformation.
A cornerstone of this strategy is the launch of GS's new Global Service Delivery Center. The Center will serve clients from a variety of industries and regions, helping Giza Systems deliver solutions faster, at greater scale, and with improved cost efficiency. The company aims to leverage global delivery infrastructure and innovative practices to boost operational efficiency, expand capacity, and streamline resource management worldwide.
Giza Systems is also focusing on emerging sectors with significant growth potential, such as financial technology (FinTech), smart cities, smart sports, AI-powered video analytics, cloud services, cybersecurity, and Oracle-based enterprise solutions. Its integrated approach—blending operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT)—stands to offer comprehensive digital transformation services to customers.
“GS Group is aligning its brand with a strategy centered on purpose-built innovation, scalable delivery, and a culture of continuous evolution,” said Ahmad Elharany. “We are adapting to the rapidly changing needs of our global customers by embedding deeper innovation, advanced delivery capabilities, and a future-focused mindset in everything we do.”
Backed by Solutions by stc, which owns an 88.19% stake in GS, Giza Systems has recently achieved several major milestones. These include the acquisition of LABS, a prominent SAP partner, marking GS’s entry into the ERP market. GS has also established a dedicated Oracle implementation business unit and has led flagship smart city projects such as Egypt’s New Administrative Capital’s Intelligent Transportation Systems and the Alamein Command and Control Center.
Looking ahead, GS plans to deepen its footprint in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)—specifically in Oman, Bahrain, and Abu Dhabi—through strategic partnerships, proactive sales initiatives, and closer collaboration with leading global technology partners. The goal: to further enrich customer experiences and product offerings.
Sustainability and social responsibility are core values for GS. The company earned a strong -AA- ESG/GRI rating in its first sustainability report in 2023, demonstrating its commitment to responsible business. Through the Giza Systems Foundation (GSF), its CSR arm, the group supports underserved communities via technology-driven initiatives. In 2024, GSF supported 15 startups across eight Egyptian governorates through the BridgeZ accelerator, advancing nine United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. GSF’s vision is to become Egypt’s hub for impact investment, connecting startups with investors, donors, and strategic partners.
With a solid foundation in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the wider GCC, and East Africa, Giza Systems now aims for a significant global expansion, targeting a strengthened worldwide presence by 2027.
